Capabilities of the GTS technique and its scope of application
Training in military-applied skills embedded in the tactics of conducting local hybrid wars requires expanding the boundaries of special knowledge and skills, brought to natural reflexes.
GTS is an innovative platform that combines various applied military sports, traditional martial arts, military knowledge of engineering and chemical training, canine training, parachute training and first aid in the field.
The developed GTS techniques allow you to quickly move from working in close combat without weapons to the use of special means, bladed weapons and firearms. The basis of the teaching methodology is practical experience acquired during combat operations in Afghanistan, anti-terrorist operations in the Caucasus and Syria, as well as innovative original programs of employees of the Scientific Research Center of the Military Institute of Physical Culture of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
The GTS methodological council includes instructors of international level in various types of martial arts who have experience serving in the armed forces of the Russian Federation, units of Russian law enforcement agencies, who took part in hostilities, who were awarded departmental and state awards, as well as teachers and doctors with academic degrees and authors patented Russian health and rehabilitation techniques.
The widespread use of the author’s methodology is aimed at training employees of law enforcement agencies, private security organizations, pre-conscription and conscript youth.
The NWT methodology is used in training participants in competitions in the military-applied sport «Army tactical shooting all-around». This sport was registered by the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation in the fourth section of the All-Russian Register of Sports – «Military and service-applied sports» in March 2021. On behalf of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on the development of military-applied sports, in accordance with the order of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergei Shoigu, the Russian Army Tactical Shooting Federation was created, which develops this military-applied sport. The new military-applied sport was based on the developments of the GTS.
The uniqueness of the use of GTS as a training method for this military-applied sport is that it includes the integrated use of both tactical combat techniques and work with all types of small arms and cold steel standard weapons in service with the Russian army, with elements of hand-to-hand combat. combat and first aid.
A GTS instructor is a professional in any martial arts: armed or unarmed. He works for results, the price of which is human life.
The broad capabilities of the GTS methodology and the wide scope of its application make it possible to increase the level of training of military personnel, law enforcement officers, private security agencies and security services, and to ensure high-quality training of pre-conscription youth for service in the armed forces.
